The area around your The Isle apartment is brimming with culinary creativity. Dozens of restaurants are just steps from your front door, offering high-quality cuisine, top-notch service and an exciting ambiance that encourages locals from all around Manayunk to socialize. All of those opportunities will be on full display when a popular food festival returns to our area this spring.

Manayunk Restaurant Week is back April 16-28. During the event, you can snag unbelievable deals at some of the area’s finest restaurants, all just minutes from your The Isle apartment. Here’s how it works: During the almost two-week event, participating eateries will offer three-course, prix-fixe meals for $15, $25 or $35. Dozens of restaurants join in the fun, so you can take your pick from a wide variety of flavors—or make a serious game plan and hit up Manayunk Restaurant Week several times!

The event kicks off with the StrEAT Food Festival, held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. April 15 all along Main Street, just a block from your The Isle apartment. Thousands usually turn out for the celebration, which features more than 50 food trucks and gourmet food vendors. From standard favorites like barbecue and ice cream to more adventurous finds, such as pizza in a cone, the festival encourages locals to bring along their appetites to sample some of the best food in the region. Local breweries, cideries and wineries will also be well-represented for a nice refresher in between snacks. Apart from the food, the festival also features artisans and opportunities to buy specialty food products like oils and spices, as well as showcases fresh fruits and produce from local growers.

The festival is also an opportunity to highlight local businesses, and many will set up shop right at the street with sidewalk sales offering steals and deals.
