Philadelphia Woodworks was founded in 2011 by Michael Vogel when he discovered there weren’t any shops in the area where he could practice his woodworking after he graduated from architecture school. He created a space where members could pay a budget-friendly monthly fee to use the shop and all of its high-end technical equipment whenever they want. Philadelphia Woodworks is also a hub for education, with an extensive list of classes available to both members and non-members, as well many private lesson opportunities too. There are even classes for kids, so you can bring the whole family.

A small, helpful, and personal staff provide the perfect conditions for a welcoming, stress-free experience. The woodshop is open every day of the week except Monday and even has a lumber yard right on site.
