If you’re looking for a fall festival close to hom, check out Roxtoberfest on Oct. 5 in neighboring Roxborough. The massive street festival is one of the city’s biggest and best Oktoberfest celebrations, drawing hundreds to Ridge Avenue for a day of food, fun and festivities—and it’s all just six blocks from your The Isle apartment.

The German spirit will be alive and well throughout the festival, with German dancers and musicians, brew-themed contests—like the popular stein-holding competition!—and an introduction to New Ridge Brewing.
