The sights, sounds and smells of autumn are almost upon us! And all will be on full display at an upcoming neighborhood festival that showcases the best and brightest of Manayunk—all just steps from your The Isle apartment.

Manafest is a brand new Manayunk celebration designed to welcome fall in the way our neighborhood does best: a street festival! Set for Sept. 21 along Main Street, right outside your The Isle apartment, the event is billed as a “homegrown” festival—meaning all of Manayunk’s exciting entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities will be curbside for all to enjoy.

The festival will feature a stage with rotating live entertainment—from local musicians to family-friendly acts. The entire event is designed as family-friendly, so if you have little ones in your life, you can’t miss this one. Expect pumpkin carving, face painting, games, photo ops and much more! And if your little one has four legs, not two, bring them along as well, as this open-air festival welcomes pets!

If you’ve ever been to a Manayunk street festival, you know food is the highlight—and that will be no different at Manafest! Food trucks will line both sides of Main Street, offering tastes of the local neighborhood and beyond. Wander up and down the street and sample and snack all day. Or, if you want to take advantage of all of the culinary excitement right here in Manayunk, stop into any of the Main Street restaurants, bars and eateries, many of whom will be offering specials throughout the day. No fall festival is complete without ciders, warm wine and spiked cocktails, and all will be up for grabs at the beer garden and local participating bars.

Local shops will also be featured in the vendor section, along with artisans, merchants and other businesses. If you want to get an early start on your holiday shopping, this is a great place to look!
