If you’re into fitness and competition, we have an
opportunity for you! There are still a few weeks left to the All Trails
Challenge, where you’re invited to pound the pavement to challenge both
yourself and your fellow competitors—and it all goes down just a mile from your
The Isle apartment.
The All Trails Challenge began at the start of the summer
and runs through Aug. 28 in the Wissahickon Valley Park. The massive park
features more than 50 miles of trails—all of varying terrains, but each
offering spectacular views of one of the neighborhood’s most standout spots—and
it’s all just a five-minute drive from your The Isle apartment. The challenge
is to hit as many trails as you can, raising money as you do so—with all
proceeds going directly back into the park.
Here’s how it works: Register
for the challenge and start your fundraising page, which you can share with
supporters so they can follow your progress and donate to the cause. Sync your
fundraising page with a fitness tracker like a FitBit and share all of the
miles you log with your supporters, who can up their donations to encourage you
to keep hitting the trails. Walk, jog, run or bike, and bring along a friend,
kids and even your pooch!). You don’t have to be a fitness expert to
participate; as long as you’re out on the trails, you’re doing your part.
While you’re giving back to the community by participating,
you can also reap the rewards! All participants with a minimum of $50 in
contributions are entered for prizes, which get bigger and better the more
miles you log! And the more you interact with the All Trails Challenge online
and through social media, you’ll be entered for even more drawings and raffles.
So before the challenge draws to a close, get registered and
explore all of the winding pathways that make up one of Philly’s best spots for
