Attention, art lovers! One of the area’s largest arts festivals will be setting up shop right outside your The Isle apartment this month!

Welcome the first official weekend of summer at the Manayunk Arts Festival. Now in its 29th year, the event is the largest, outdoor juried-art exhibit in the region. As such, locals have the opportunity to enjoy some amazing art, fun in the sun and the opportunity to see Manayunk’s Main Street in a whole new light.

The corridor is usually bustling from the bars and businesses, and on June 23 and June 24 it will be filled to the brim with artists and their fans. More than 200,000 people are expected to hit up the show throughout the weekend to score one-of-a-kind works from among more than 200 artists.

The artists will represent a wide range of mediums: jewelry, fiber, ceramics, wood, painting, photography and more. If you’re in the market for some unique, handmade summer clothes, you’ll be sure to find them here. If you want some new wall hangings for your The Isle apartment, you can take your pick! And if you’re running a little late on a gift for Dad for Father’s Day—or want to get a serious head start on holiday shopping!—the festival is a great spot to find some standout gifts.

Apart from all of the art opportunities, the festival features live music and food, and many of your favorite Main Street restaurants, bars and shops will get in on the fun with specials of their own.
