Parks on Tap Returns to Manayunk

May 27th, 2018
Philadelphia’s traveling beer garden is back in action—and coming to a park near you!
Parks on Tap is bigger and better than ever in its third year. This spring and summer, the pop-up party is heading to 23 city parks—several more sites than last season—including two Manayunk locations right near your The Isle apartment.
What exactly is Parks on Tap? The event is organized by the city and Four Corners Management and travels to public parks all across Philly from April to September. Visitors can enjoy a beer garden, gourmet food, lawn games, live music and more. Proceeds from the event go back to the host park, making it an innovative concept that invests in local communities.
Parks on Tap is open Wednesday-Sunday and provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy the sunshine in Philly’s green spaces—all while sipping, snacking and socializing! Each site offers a unique opportunity to see the city’s parks and neighborhoods, but if you don’t want to travel too far from home, you’re in luck!
Parks on Tap will pop up at Gorgas Park, one mile from your The Isle apartment, from May 30-June 3. Gorgas Park is located right along busy Ridge Avenue but, at Parks on Tap, you won’t even notice the hustle and bustle! The event features gorgeous canopy coverings and lights strung throughout trees that illuminate the park at night, both of which encourage rest and relaxation, and will have you forgetting you’re right in the middle of a city.
The event will return to Pretzel Park, two blocks from your The Isle apartment, Sept. 19-23 as the second-to-last event of the year. Parks on Tap is always pet-friendly and, as it will be located right next to Pretzel Park’s popular dog run, definitely consider bringing your four-legged friends to this event!
Hope to see you there!
