Philadelphia’s famed Fancy Brigade is coming to Manayunk this February. Get excited, this could be our neighborhood’s biggest event of the year. In celebration of Mardi Gras, the mummers will be dancing their way down Main Street. It’s not the Bayou, but Philadelphia’s Schuylkill River is a fitting background for this annual celebration of festivities and feasts.

Manayunk.com is teaming up with ADVENT to bring residents this classic event some Philadelphia flare. The mummers create a spectacle like no other. Enjoy performances from all your favorites comics, fancies, and the city’s best string bands. It’s the biggest family-friendly Mardi Gras event in town and a great way to show the little ones a Mummer’s Parade in a quaint setting.

Save the date! Sunday, February 25th Mummers Mardi Gras will fill the streets. If it rains, the parade will be rescheduled for March 4th.
