November has arrived and things are really cooling down in Philadelphia. It’s pretty safe to say, we are all looking for something to warm us up this month as we prepare for winter’s ever-approaching arrival. As always, Manayunk is coming in clutch with another event residents of The Isle are sure to enjoy. The neighborhood has dedicated an entire week to the craft of the cocktail and we are getting our drink orders ready. Manayunk Cocktail Week kicks off on November 6th and the festivities don’t end until November 12th.

Visit your favorite local bars and restaurants for special events all week long. This year there are over 15 participating locations. Events include all types of entertainment and activities like food pairings, parties, tastings, happy hours, and even competitions. We recommend you check out the Craft Cocktail Academy at Craft Manayunk on Wednesday, November 8th, and the Bloody Mary Contest at Sona Pub & Kitchen on Sunday, November 12th.

We’d say get in touch with your designated drivers of choice, but one of the many benefits of living at The Isle is that all of the area’s hottest bars are walking distance (or rather stumbling distance) from home. There are so many deals to take advantage of so make sure you come out every night. Like we always say, it’s not a drinking problem if there’s a special occasion.
