June 14th, 2017
This Father’s Day you have the opportunity to make your dad truly proud. While we think just seeing your beautiful apartment at The Isle is enough to make a father proud, it also puts you at an advantage for its great location near lots of the area’s best attractions. We know how important this Father’s Day really is, so we made a short and simple guide to some of the best things going on in the city. Be sure to have fun, make memories, and cherish the day.
Gary Papa Father’s Day Run– Perfect for dads who like getting outside and don’t mind working up a sweat, the Gary Papa Father’s Day Run is an exciting option for kicking off the holiday. Dad will love running scenic Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the practicality of exercise for a good cause, all proceeds go to support the Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health. It costs 35 dollars to run and is extremely inclusive to all ages and abilities, with participants welcome to complete 10k, 5k, or just a short walk.
Citizens Bank Park– Take dad out for a ball game! We can’t think of a more American way to celebrate the day. Every Father’s Day, Citizens Bank Park hosts a hometown game with dads in mind. Arrive early and be sure to catch the pregame tribute to dedicated dads, then watch the Phillies take on the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Bayou Bar & Grill– Dads will love the selection at this no-nonsense tavern. Bond over a comfortable and friendly Father’s Day meal, Bayou Bar & Grill serves traditional American cuisine as well as seafood. What this spot lacks in frills, it makes up for in quality, delicious food, and plentiful drink options. Grab a spot on the outdoor patio and enjoy the warm June evening weather.
