An Amazing Source of Culture and Fun Just a Three-Minute Walk From The Isle

Did you know that The Isle actually shares an island with the Venice Island Performing Arts and Recreation Center? It’s part of the lovely park complex that occupies the south end of the island. There’s always fun to be had at this community recreation spot, and the performing arts center is no exception. Just this month there are so many inspiring and fun artsy events that you won’t want to miss. Residents of The Isle can even enjoy only a three-minute walk to this awesome location!

From March 19th through March 22nd attendees Venice Island Performing Arts and Recreation Center can enjoy the classic drama, 12 Angry Men, originally written by Reginald Rose. For those who don’t remember the famous movie, 12 Angry Men is about a jury and their journey to a decision about a homicide trial.

The Shoebox Company’s Short Theatre Festival hosted by the Venice Island Performing Arts and Recreation Center is also coming up March 31st through April 2nd. Enjoy over twenty-five acts that last anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes each. Tickets are $15 to $30 and all proceeds go to charity.
