Finding the right time, place and way to propose to your sweetheart is no easy feat. But locals looking to take the plunge have the chance to make that process a bit easier!

Manayunk Development Corporation is running a contest to help one lucky winner pop the question in style.

The “Get Engaged in Manayunk” package will feature complimentary pictures by JPG Photography of the big moment — captured secretively, of course! JPG will also offer a free mini engagement shoot for the couple.

Jake’s & Cooper’s Wine Bar is getting in on the fun too, with a post-proposal dinner for the lovebirds, who will also receive a gift basket chockfull of Manayunk merch.

The contest is open to all folks planning to propose to their significant other in February. All you have to do is email rjenkins@manayunk.org with details about you and your partner. Write about what brought you together, why you’re ready to take this next step or your favorite memory with your soon-to-be spouse — whatever makes your love story unique, share it! (Contest organizers will be looking for locals, so make sure to include what role Manayunk played in your relationship.)
